Terms and Conditions for Kairo's K9s Dog Training Services
1. Introduction
Welcome to Kairo's K9s! By enrolling your dog in our training programs, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully. These terms and conditions are designed to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants, including dogs and their owners, and to outline our mutual responsibilities.
2. Services Provided
Kairo's K9s offers a variety of dog training services, including but not limited to obedience training and behavior modification. Our services are tailored to meet the individual needs of each dog and owner.
3. Assumption of Risk
By participating in Kairo's K9s training sessions, you acknowledge and agree that dog training involves inherent risks, including but not limited to the risk of injury to yourself, your dog, or others. You voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation in our training programs.
4. Release of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kairo's K9s, its trainers, employees, and agents shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, or damage, whether to person or property, arising out of or in connection with the training services provided. This includes but is not limited to injuries or damages caused by:
- Dog bites or scratches
- Slips, trips, or falls
- Actions of other dogs or owners
5. Owner's Responsibility
Owners are responsible for their dogs at all times during training sessions. This includes ensuring that their dog is on a leash (unless otherwise instructed by the trainer), wearing appropriate identification, and is up-to-date on all vaccinations. Owners must inform Kairo's K9s of any behavioral issues, health conditions, or other relevant information about their dog prior to the commencement of training.
6. Health and Safety
Owners must ensure that their dog is healthy and free from any contagious diseases before attending training sessions. If a dog shows signs of illness, owners must notify Kairo's K9s and refrain from bringing the dog to training until cleared by a veterinarian.
7. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Kairo's K9s, its trainers, employees, and agents from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your participation in the training services, including but not limited to any injury or damage caused by your dog.
8. Payment and Cancellation Policy
All fees for training services must be paid in advance. Prices are Subject to change without notice. Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance to receive a full refund. Kairo's K9s may charge you up to the full amount of your appointment should you cancel less than 48 hours in advance or fail to arrive to your appointment time. Kairo's K9s reserves the right to cancel or reschedule sessions as necessary. We also reserve the right to provide services to you at anytime.
9. Media Release
By participating in Kairo's K9s training programs, you grant Kairo's K9s permission to use any photographs or videos taken during training sessions for promotional and marketing purposes.
10. Governing Law
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the province in which Kairo's K9s operates and the applicable federal laws of Canada. Any legal action arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be brought in the appropriate courts of that province.
11. Acceptance of Terms
By enrolling in Kairo's K9s training programs, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
